Qualifications

• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Handle customer inquiries not requiring pharmacist expertise and judgment.
• Process new prescriptions and telephoned refill requests with supervising pharmacist oversight.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing and labeling.
• Submit insurance claims and troubleshoot third-party billing.
• Maintain patient information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Stock pharmacy supplies and maintain a clean dispensing area.
• Perform cash transactions accurately and follow store policies.
