Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno/Clovis, CA seeks a Night Shift Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in inpatient settings. You will fill orders, distribute medications, and handle phone messages under supervision.

Responsibilities include IV additive preparation, inventory control, stock rotation, and assisting when management is not onsite. California license and a qualifying education are required.

• State of California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• High School Diploma, GED or Completion of a CMC Approved IEP Certificate.

Responsibilities

As a night shift Pharmacy Tech, provides ancillary/technical assistance to the Pharmacist in the inpatient pharmacy settings to support medication distribution to patients. Responsibilities include, filling medication orders, distributes and delivers medications, answers phones/messages under direction of a pharmacist. Prepares and fills IV additive solution orders according to prescribed procedures. Assists in inventory control including, stock rotation and return of outdated medications. Excellent teamwork and adaptability under the supervision of the night pharmacist required when managerial support is not physically on campus. Shift typically occurs between the hours of 1900 and 0800, when the patient to staff ratio exceeds that of other day/evening shifts.
