Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno/Clovis, CA seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide foundational pharmacy services, verify medication orders, and oversee dispensing with emphasis on patient safety and drug information support.

You will review accuracy of medications prepared by staff and serve as a trusted drug information resource for physicians, nurses, and hospital personnel while promoting safe medication use across the campus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides foundational pharmacy services, including medication order verification, dispensing oversight, drug information support, and basic patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services.
• Reviews the accuracy and appropriateness of medications prepared and dispensed by pharmacy personnel.
• Serves as a drug information resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital personnel.
• Supports safe, accurate, and efficient medication use throughout the hospital.
