Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Tech-Level 2 at our East 96th St. Indianapolis location.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at various service points of contact.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Process paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
