Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role at our Towne Center Road location in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on patient care, accuracy in dispensing, and strong customer service within a retail pharmacy setting.

The position requires High School/GED, retail/community practice experience, and excellent communication skills. You will support prescription processing, labeling, insurance claims, and inventory management in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medication from inventory and stock shelves.
• Input customer and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Maintain a clean, confidential, and organized pharmacy environment.
