Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform admixtures of medications to IV solutions and prepare unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications. The role supports critical care and OR satellite areas and ensures stock levels are maintained, following SOPs and state/federal regulations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in IV admixtures and current pharmacy technician registration. PTCB certification is a plus.

Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
