Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with California State Board approved Pharmacy Technician training, certification, or degree.
• Requires 3 years of pharmacy-related experience.
• Understanding of internal procedures and policies needed to ensure effective execution of assigned tasks.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
• Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule and weekends as required.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve outpatient pharmacy benefit coverage inquiries, including prescription claim processing problems.
• Communicate formulary guidelines and alternatives to physicians, office staff, pharmacy providers, members, and brokers.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure accurate and timely responses.
