Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist in immunizations, and perform inventory duties while maintaining regulatory and company standards.

The role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and teamwork, with required state licensure and the ability to travel between stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Living the company purpose by following SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
• Completing basic inventory activities as directed by the pharmacy leadership team
• Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback
• Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores as needed
• Complying with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Delivering additional patient health care services where allowable by law and trained to do so
• Immunization responsibilities including licensure and vaccination duties
• Educating patients about vaccines and tracking adverse reactions
