Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician II to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will fill medication orders, pre-pack, compound pharmaceuticals, restock supplies, deliver medications, and perform clerical duties to support pharmacy operations and patient service.

The role requires completion of PTS training and state credentials, with opportunities for professional development and access to our EPIC charting

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician-PTCB certification required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician-NHA certification required.
• Specialized training in pharmacy law, practice standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names.
• Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency.
• At least one year of experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.

Responsabilidades

• Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Technician II requirements.
• Successfully completes required training and maintains competency in sterile medication preparation, pediatric sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, and controlled substance inventory, distribution and disposal.
• Ensures compliance with the department’s Controlled Substances Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding pharmaceuticals, refilling stock supplies, delivering medication, and performing various clerical duties as required.
