Presbyterian Healthcare Services invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Albuquerque team under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding, stocking, delivering medications, and related clerical duties to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

The role supports patient care with opportunities for tuition reimbursement, staff safety initiatives, shift differentials, and access to EPIC charting.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician-PTCB or NHA.
• Specialized, short-term training in the areas of pharmacy law, practice standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names.
• Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency.
• At least one year of experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.

Responsabilidades

• Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Technician I and II requirements.
• Completes required training and maintains competency in sterile medication preparation, pediatric sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, and controlled substance inventory, distribution, and disposal.
• Ensures compliance with the department's Controlled Substances Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding pharmaceuticals, refilling stock supplies, delivering medication, and performing various clerical duties as required.
