Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Albuquerque facility. Under pharmacist supervision, duties include filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding, restocking supplies, and delivering medications in outpatient oncology and other areas.

Position requires NM Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) and readiness for sterile/non-sterile compounding. Schedule is M-F day shifts with occasional additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State NM Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) or Certified Pharmacy Technician-NHA required.

• Delivers supplies to patient units and ancillary areas.

Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $18.33 Maximum Offer $30.24

Summary: Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding pharmaceuticals, refilling stock supplies, delivering medication, and performing various clerical duties as required. The chosen applicant will be trained to complete sterile products compounding for non-hazardous and hazardous compounding in our outpatient oncology pharmacies. Must be able to work M-F day shifts and 2-4 shifts per month at minimum. How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.

• Handling of non-sterile hazardous medications
• Proper waste or disposal
• Maintains required record-keeping for controlled and non-controlled substances.
• Delivers supplies to the patient unit and ancillary areas.
• Answers telephone and responds to questions and problems.
• Checks stock on a regular basis to identify and reorder outdated stock and ensures that stock is maintained in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Responsible for adherence to the Department Compliance Plan for Controlled Substances.
• Performs other functions as required or assigned.
