Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will fill medication orders, pre-pack, compound pharmaceuticals, restock supplies, and deliver medications while performing clerical tasks.

Responsibilities include sterile and non-sterile preparation, CSP inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• PTCB or NHA certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Completion of PHS Sterile Products Competency
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience or completion of an accredited technician training program

Responsibilities

• Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Technician II requirements.
• Completes required training and maintains competency in sterile, pediatric sterile/nonsterile prep, and controlled substance handling.
• Ensures compliance with the department's Controlled Substances Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding pharmaceuticals, refilling stock supplies, delivering medication, and performing various clerical duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Pharmacy Technician-PTCB
• Or, Certified Pharmacy Technician-NHA
• Specialized, short-term training in the areas of pharmacy law, practice standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names.
• Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency
• At least one year of experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
