Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists, patients and healthcare staff in delivering pharmaceutical services. The role involves sterile compounding, NICU support, and automation-related activities across inpatient and central operations.

You will support purchasing, inventory, and timely medication delivery while maintaining strict compliance with safety and USP 797 standards. A WA license and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Skills for non-sterile extemporaneous drug compounding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills.
• Organizational ability.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in busy and stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists, patients, and healthcare personnel in pharmaceutical services.
• Perform sterile compounding with USP 797 compliance.
• Support NICU and pharmacy automation initiatives.
• Provide inpatient purchasing support and coverage.
• Prioritize and document compounded sterile products accurately.
• Maintain cleanrooms and inventory; order and receive products.
