EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, patients and staff in daily pharmaceutical services. You will assist with dosing calculations, compounding, medication preparation and timely delivery within the department.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, maintaining inventory, operating pharmacy automation, and ensuring proper storage and control of medications, including CS.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organizational ability.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in busy and stressful situations.

Aufgaben

• Answers and triages phone calls and in-person requests within the department, utilizing excellent customer service skills.
• Accurately calculates, determines, and selects the correct dose to be measured, withdrawn, and/or assembled for the final product to be checked by the pharmacist.
• Safely and accurately prepares medications to be ultimately checked by the pharmacist; may include compounding topical ointments, repackaging unit dose medications, preparing oral solutions, and hazardous medications.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock, placing orders, verifying receipt, rotating inventory, and removing outdated drugs.
• Ensures proper storage of medications according to manufacturers' storage requirements and organizational policies.
• Provides timely delivery of medications to all patient care areas, restocking cabinets and fulfilling departmental requests; supports emergency and routine medication needs.
• Operates pharmacy automation and technology, processes requests, restocks cabinets, runs reports, and tracks inventory.
• Maintains proper chain of custody for controlled substances and completes daily tasks; communicates with team to optimize workflow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
