Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders and outpatient prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
• Maintain computerized patient profile systems and related tasks.
• Support 24-hour inpatient medication supply and extemporaneous unit dose prep.
• Verify integrity of emergency carts and communicate with patient-care areas.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and basic IV preparation support.
• Perform medication volume and metric calculations and reconcile IV doses.
• Transmit drug orders to wholesalers and manage pharmacy inventory.
