Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a diligent Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and patients in pharmaceutical services. The role focuses on timely medication delivery, accurate dose preparation, and safe handling within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include triage calls, inventory management, and use of pharmacy automation to ensure safety and efficiency. Washington license required; a CPhT is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organizational ability.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in busy and stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Answers and triages phone calls and in-person requests within the department, using excellent customer service skills.
• Accurately calculates, determines, and selects the correct dose to be measured, withdrawn, and/or assembled for the final product to be checked by the pharmacist.
• Safely and accurately prepares medications to be checked by the pharmacist, including compounding creams, repackaging unit doses, and preparing oral solutions.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock, placing orders, and rotating inventory.
• Provides timely delivery of medications to patient care areas and restocks cabinets and emergency boxes; supports workflow.
