Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy, ensuring accurate prescription processing, patient information input, and third-party adjudication using RxEVO.

You will support immunization scheduling and inventory management, while upholding HIPAA and company SOPs. The role requires a Texas CPhT and current active registration, with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior customer service and service standards.
• Coordinates Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling.
• Processes prescriptions with RxEVO; inputs patient information and manages adjudication.
• Maintains automated prescription processing equipment and performs calibrations.
• Reviews Warehouse and DSD orders; checks deliveries for accuracy and resolves discrepancies.
• Performs other assigned duties as required by Pharmacy Operations.
• Ensures privacy of PHI under HIPAA and complies with 5-S and SOPs.
