College of Health Care Professions in Texas seeks a Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator to develop and manage externship partnerships, support student success, and ensure compliant documentation.

Must reside in Texas; requires an Associate degree and 3 years as a Pharmacy Technician with experience coordinating externships or training programs; teaching experience preferred. CHCP offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Associates degree required in a healthcare field.
• Minimum 3 years as Pharmacy Technician in retail, hospital, or specialty setting.
• At least 1 year coordinating externships or student training initiatives.
• Teaching/training experience in pharmacy technician education preferred.
• Experience developing partnerships with healthcare facilities and community organizations.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee externship program partnerships.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate student performance and strengthen partnerships.
• Collaborate with Career Services to facilitate transitions to employment.
• Provide guidance on attendance, professionalism and performance.
• Teach and manage the online externship course.
• Tutor students at risk of not passing board exams.
