Job summary

ShopRite of Perth Amboy in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in providing medication and healthcare products to customers with the highest level of care.

You will input patient information, count and label prescriptions, stock the Pharmacy Department, and help customers locate items. The role requires state licensing, 18+ age, and ability to stand for long shifts while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualifications include a requirement to read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle transactions accurately.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet state licensing or certification requirements for pharmacy support.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Input patient information and process prescriptions with accuracy.
• Assist Pharmacist in counting and labeling prescriptions and stocking the department.
