Job summary

Randstad USA in Worthington, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. You will fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, and assist in prepackaging and final review of medications.

You will also enter data for reimbursements, help maintain inventory, and support a safe, clean work environment. Schedules: M-F 9am-5:30pm; OH state certification required.

Qualifications

• OH state certification is required for this role.
• Experience with filling prescriptions and IV prep is advantageous.

Market leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team in Worthington, OH!

Duties

Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs. Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment. Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations. Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer. Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory. Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

M-F 9am-5:30pm

Qualifications

Must have OH state certification
