Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital in National City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for per diem coverage to support daily pharmacy operations under supervision. You will assist the Pharmacist and help ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing.

Requirements include a high school diploma, state license/registration, ASHP-accredited training, and certification within 6 months; 340B program experience is a plus. Per diem shifts are variable.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training preferred.
• State license/registration as Pharmacy Technician required or obtained per state regulations.
• PTCB or NHA certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility).

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

Facility Specific Requirements (as Applicable Required)

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required or obtained within 6 months of hire

Pay Transparency

Paradise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.10 to $27.10. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
