Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital in National City is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to join our Cardiopulmonary team. You will use ultrasound to visualize cardiac structures, assist the physician with echocardiograms, including TEE testing, and help maintain smooth department operations.

This role requires completing an Echocardiography program or equivalent training, current BCLS, and ARDMS or CCI certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of Echocardiography program or equivalent training.

• Able to assist physician with TEE testing required.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.

• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

� Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $39.00 to $54.45. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
