Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Assistant Pharmacy Manager in Charleston, SC. You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, administer immunizations, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff, coordinate coverage for travel, and support promotions, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and profitability. Bachelor’s or PharmD and active pharmacist license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. Previous experience preferred.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organization.
• Effective and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of the staff pharmacists and support special promotions.
• Respond to pharmacy needs for relief coverage and travel locations as needed.
• Administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense or compound medications per prescriptions and applicable laws.
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions and supervise technicians and interns.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, regulations and company policies.
• Assist in supervising and training pharmacy associates and managing workflow.
