Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician System Support for the Retail Support Group. Provides expert leadership in pharmacy systems, trains new hires, and serves as a technical resource for pharmacists and staff in a fast-paced retail setting.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, with no weekends, in Nashville, Tennessee. Qualified candidates are certified technicians with 3+ years of experience, retail background preferred, and strong communication and collaboration skills to

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience is required. Retail experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through either PTCB or NHA.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and systems.
• Ability to take initiative and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Supports implementation and testing of new systems or processes utilized in the pharmacy.
• Serves as a technical resource to users and others in the department for pharmacy systems and data management.
• Assists with data management to support programs, compliance, and safe medication use processes.
• Participates in quality assurance activities related to the medication use process or specified program.
