Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is hiring a friendly Customer Experience Associate in Irvington, NJ. In this role you will greet customers, ring up sales, and provide fast, courteous checkout service while assisting the pharmacist under supervision with routine dispensing tasks.

You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and help maintain accurate records. Prior retail experience and an interest in health care are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in retail.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, courteous service at checkout and assist customers with products and services.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing under supervision and using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
• Process prescriptions, verify medicine accuracy, and check for potential interactions.
• Maintain counters, shelves, and displays; assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Handle order pickups, returns, and customer questions to ensure a positive Walgreens experience.
