Job summary

Elevance Health is hiring a Pharmacy Support Coordinator to support population health management initiatives. The role operates in a hybrid setup, requiring in-office presence 1–2 days per week, with possible alternate locations for commuting candidates.

You will verify member data, educate providers on pharmacy rules, and process data requests to ensure Medicare and commercial compliance. The position emphasizes collaboration with physicians, sales, and internal teams to close care quality gaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include an active license (state requirements) to practice as a Pharmacy Technician.
• HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of pharmacy experience or an equivalent background.
• Preferred: familiarity with PBMs and health plans.

Responsibilities

• Verifies member information and data for pharmacist opportunities to improve health.
• Educates providers on pharmacy rules related to prescriptions and medications.
• Processes data requests and ensures compliance with Medicare and commercial requirements.
• Outreach to provider offices to close quality gaps in care.
• Responds to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and internal partners about formulary and prescription benefits.
• Generates reports for physician utilization and clinical criteria.
