Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead a pharmacy team, guide day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory and technical requirements.

The role blends formal leadership with hands-on staff pharmacist duties as needed, using independent judgment to solve problems and coordinate with leadership to improve patient care. A PharmD/Pharmacy degree and licensure are required, with five+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Five plus years of experience preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
• License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Supervisor provides day-to-day work guidance for a team or work group in a shift and/or in the completion of tactical processes.
• Has an extensive understanding of process, operational, regulatory and technical requirements of related work areas.
• The Supervisor's primary role is formal leadership; however, may perform staff pharmacist duties according to the pharmacy's needs.
