Job summary

AdventHealth Overland Park is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a PRN schedule with day-shift weekends. You will maintain inventory, stock shelves, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of medications to units.

• Makes and delivers products so they arrive on unit time.
• Replenishes drugs used during surgery and code carts and completes the charge sheet for each patient.
• Performs tasks requested by pharmacists or pharmacy leadership in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Work Hours/Shifts: Every other weekend 0630-1500 and 1 weeknight shift per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains all centralized and decentralized pharmacy inventory, including assessing par levels, stocking shelves, ordering supplies, and alerting the buyer to stock shortages.
• Makes and delivers products so that they arrive at the unit on time.
• Replenishes drugs used during surgery and code blue carts, and completes the appropriate charge sheet for each patient.
• Performs functions requested by pharmacists or pharmacy leadership in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
