Qualifications

• 2+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience.
• Active state pharmacy technician registration required.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise-level inventory operations and formulary alignment.
• Oversees controlled substance programs and compliance with DEA policies.
• Conducts audits and reviews to optimize inventory integrity and supply chain resilience.
• Leads system-wide medication safety initiatives and staff education.
• Serves as a safety champion and advisor to leadership on pharmacy practices.

Pharmacy Technician, Full-Time Evenings

$5000 Sign on Bonus

Executes expert-level pharmacy technician duties across all core and advanced workflows, providing strategic support for pharmacy operations and patient-centered care. Maintains proficiency in hazardous and sterile compounding, controlled substance management, inventory integrity, and regulatory compliance. Leads initiatives in medication safety, quality assurance, and operational optimization, while mentoring staff and supporting training programs. Collaborates with pharmacists, clinical teams, and leadership to advance departmental goals and contributes to practice improvement, governance, and professional development efforts. Maintains national pharmacy certification.

Work Hours/Shifts:

1330-2200 Monday-Friday

$5000 Sign on Bonus

Job Functions

• Leads enterprise-level inventory operations, including procurement processes, formulary alignment, and perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Oversees controlled substance programs, diversion prevention efforts, and compliance with DEA and institutional policies.
• Conducts advanced audits and operations reviews to advise on inventory integrity analytics, cost containment strategies, medication shortage mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
• Leads system-wide medication safety initiatives, including risk mitigation, error prevention, and safety education.
• Facilitates root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Serves as a pharmacy safety champion and advisor to leadership.
