El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ seeks a Director of Pharmacy to provide administrative, strategic and operational leadership for Pharmacy and Advanced Practice Pharmacy departments, ensuring high-quality patient care.
The role leads budgeting, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, 340B), policy development, and cross-functional collaboration to improve outcomes, while aligning with organizational goals. Requires Pharmacist license and MBA or related field.
Formación
- MBA in business or related field required or preferred.
- Ten years of management experience; pharmacy environment preferred.
- Five years' experience working as a pharmacist.
- Current Pharmacist License per Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
- BLS certification; Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Responsabilidades
- Develops and directs quality standards for Pharmacy operations.
- Leads budgeting and financial stewardship for the department.
- Ensures HIPAA and regulatory compliance across all departments.
- Oversees pharmacy locations, services, and operations.
- Drives Continuous Quality Improvement and reporting.
- Manages staff recruitment, training, and evaluations.
- Maintains licensing and continuing education requirements.
- Leads cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.
