Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must

Desired Qualifications:

• Management experience preferred
• Pharmacy experience
• Retail experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Maintain professionalism, positive attitude, and effective communication in the presence of customers or on social media.
• Assist the Pharmacy Coordinator with district management, including coaching, mentoring, training, inventory management, and store setup.
• Administer immunizations following Kroger protocols.
• Complete clinical services according to caseload requirements.
• Dispense medications accurately following prescriptions, laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
• Compound medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential interactions.
• Verify prescriptions assembled by Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
• Support promotional activities in consultation with management.
• Manage day supply and follow recall protocols.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow licensing laws and maintain compliance with quality assurance and security procedures.
• Work to prevent theft, fraud, and support safety programs.
• Perform equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with department members and comply with policies and laws, including HIPAA and DEA regulations.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
