Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center's Enterprise Pharmacy - Transitions of Care Services Acute Care department seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift (1:00 PM–9:30 PM) with every other weekend work. This full-time position offers 40 hours weekly and requires state licensure with CPhT or ExCPT certification.

Responsibilities include area-specific tasks, documentation accuracy, patient communication, and supporting operational changes within the pharmacy department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; NC variant may require an Associate's Degree for validating technician responsibilities.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ExCPT preferred.
• 3 years healthcare/pharmacy-related experience typical.
• Strong communication, math, and confidentiality skills expected.
