Job summary

Better Health Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Manager, Pharmacy to oversee all pharmacy operations, lead a team, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy Services and focuses on policy development and staff development.

You will manage daily operations, conduct regular performance reviews, drive process improvements, stay current with evolving pharmaceutical guidelines, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
• At least 5 years of pharmacy experience, including leadership.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and organizational change.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with decisiveness.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office for real-time collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department.
• Conduct monthly one-to-one meetings with team members to discuss performance.
• Identify trends in team efficacy and outcomes reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement policies for the department.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
• Monitor and analyze services to identify improvements.
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical advancements and guidelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.
