Job summary

McLaren Health Care Corporation seeks a senior leader to establish and direct a comprehensive Pharmacy Services program across retail, long-term care, infusion, specialty, and mail-order operations. You will collaborate with system leadership to start up multi-site programs and identify revenue growth opportunities.

You will supervise pharmacists and support staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive quality, cost control, and information systems implementation

Qualifications

• Licensed Michigan Pharmacist with controlled substances licensure.
• 2+ years of pharmacy operations experience with retail/clinical pharmacy and IV therapy.
• 5+ years of management experience directing pharmacy operations and expanding programs.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Preferred: sales, managed care, billing experience, familiarity with governing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and achieves strategic plan initiatives for Pharmacy Services.
• Coordinates Pharmacy Services with other departments and McLaren Health Care subsidiaries.
• Leads program development strategies and business planning from strategic plans.
• Works with executives to establish departmental policies and procedures; resolves issues.
• Oversees hiring, training, performance evaluation, and staff development; travels within service area.
• Oversees policies, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
• Prepares for regulatory and reimbursement changes related to Pharmacy Operations.
• Develops budgets and manages expenses for pharmacy retail locations.
