Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department. You will perform prescription entry, patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, insurance billing and basic problem resolution.

Responsibilities include retrieving medications, creating labels, placing meds into containers, and maintaining a clean, organized department while assisting in inventory tasks and reconstituting oral liquids where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 600 hours of practical retail and/or pharmacy operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information, search patients and prescribers, and process insurance billing.
• Accept new and refill prescriptions and retrieve medications from inventory, label, and dispense per state law.
• Maintain the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and organized and assist with inventory management.
