Responsibilities

• Perform Pharmacy Service Representative duties to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department
• Enter prescription information into computer systems including patient and prescriber data
• Process new and refill prescriptions and obtain necessary authorizations when required
• Retrieve medications from inventory as allowed by state law
• Create and attach prescription labels to containers as permitted
• Package medications into containers per regulations
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and maintain accurate data
• Assist in keeping the Pharmacy department clean and organized
• Assist in inventory management including order reviews and stock replenishment
• Reconstitute oral liquids as allowed by state law
