Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information, search patients/prescribers, and handle insurance billing.
• Process new and refill prescriptions, obtain refill authorizations where permitted by state law.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and create labels/place meds in containers per state law.
• Document data in computer systems and maintain orderly pharmacy area.
• Assist with inventory management including order reviews, returns, restocking, and physical inventory.
