Franciscan Health is seeking a Pharmacy Resolution Center Specialist to support pharmacists in a hybrid role. The role requires a high school diploma, pharmacy tech certification, and prior experience in retail or mail-order/pharmacy benefit coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years Retail Pharmacy preferred.
• 3 years Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy preferred.
• 2 years Pharmacy Benefit Company customer service representative preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) required by State Licensing Board.
• PTCB Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in review and management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
• Collect pertinent patient data from the EMR for refill management and prior authorization completion.
• Enter information into the EMR for management of refill requests and prior authorizations.
• Disseminate information to Patients, Customers, and/or Employees regarding refills and prior authorizations.
• Assist in scheduling patient clinic visits as outlined by department procedures.

This is a hybrid position. 4 days a week are remote. Wednesdays are in person at the Education and Support Services Center in Greenwood

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Assist in the review and management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
• Collect pertinent patient data from the electronic medical record, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures, for the purposes of medication refill management and prior authorization completion.
• Enter information into the electronic medical record as required for the management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
• Assist in the dissemination of pertinent information to Patients, Customers, and/or Employees regarding medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Assist in scheduling patient clinic visits, as appropriate, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years Retail Pharmacy Preferred
• 3 years Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Preferred
• 2 years Pharmacy Benefit Company customer service representative Preferred
• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board Required
