Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Regulatory Coordinator, PRN, to manage high-risk pharmacy programs, oversee diversion and compounding practices, and help develop and enforce policies with site pharmacy leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician; 6 months with Saint Alphonsus preferred.
• National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field preferred.
• Additional regulatory certifications may be required; supervisory experience preferred.

PHARMACY REGULATORY COORDINATOR, PRN

SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

The Pharmacy Regulatory Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing high-risk pharmacy programs, with a specific focus on overseeing our diversion program or compounding practices. This role serves as a vital contributor to the development and enforcement of our policies and procedures, ensuring that our facilities are aligned with the expected standards within their respective areas of responsibility. This position will work with the site pharmacy leaders in the region to ensure alignment is achieved.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy or Oregon Board of Pharmacy, based on the state worked.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician required, preferred to have 6 months with Saint Alphonsus. National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) required.

• Bachelor' degree in either business or healthcare related field preferred.

• Additional certifications may be required to ensure competency to assigned regulatory needs. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
