Job summary

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures; provide in-person and telephone reception to patients
• Receives new prescriptions and/or refills ensuring correct entry/documentation
• Enters required prescription and patient information into the Pharmacy Information Management System (PIMS)
• Processes prescription refill authorization requests and communicates with providers
• Counts cash and processes transactions with customers
• Maintains organized work area and ensures safety and efficiency
