Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I – Receiving to join our pharmacy team. This full-time, early-morning role focuses on receiving inventory, unloading deliveries, stocking medications, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Working under a supervising pharmacist, you will input data into EPIC, assist with compounding and preparation, and ensure medications are available for patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active State Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to apply by start date.
• 1 year of pharmacy-related experience preferred.
• Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete pharmacy department orientation and required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming pharmaceutical shipments.
• Unload trucks, stock medications and supplies, and maintain inventory.
• Input data into EPIC and prepare medication orders for pharmacist verification.
• Deliver medications to nursing units as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of pharmacy equipment and workspace.
• Prioritize workflow based on patient and departmental needs.
