Job summary

AdventHealth in Georgia is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with hospital pharmacy background to manage procurement, inventory, and 340B activities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with vendors, and support budget and analytics.

Responsibilities include recalls coordination, data-driven purchasing decisions, and maintaining accurate cost center documentation while ensuring continuity of care across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmac tech training preferred.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy and regulatory compliance is expected.
• Familiar with purchasing, inventory control and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead recalls and regulatory alert responses with timely documentation.
• Identify supply alternatives and coordinate with leadership to prevent disruptions.
• Ensure DEA/FDA/Board compliance and audit readiness.
• Perform monthly storage area inspections and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support 340B accounts setup and contract compliance.
• Coordinate inventory needs with pharmacists and suppliers to maintain par levels.
• Generate monthly financial reports and reconcile invoices for GL coding.
• Manage procurement tasks and vendor communications effectively.
• Oversee interdepartmental medication transfers and purchasing analytics.
