Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Pharmacy Purchasing Assistant to support operations in a closed-door long-term care setting. You will handle deliveries, restock inventory, and ensure products are purchased in line with company guidelines, contributing to smooth daily operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active OR State Pharmacy Technician Licensure prior to start of job.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to be cross-trained in Returns, Packaging, Fulfillment, and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Receives and checks in deliveries in a timely manner.
• Restocks and rotates products on shelves.
• Purchase inventory and other products based on company guidelines.
• Returns products to wholesalers due to damage or overstock.
• Performs daily inventory audits.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist to join our team! As the Purchasing Assistant your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Receives and checks in deliveries in a timely manner
• Restocks and rotates products on shelves
• Purchase inventory and other products based on specific company guidelines
• Returns products to wholesalers due to damage or overstock
• Performs daily inventory audits

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active OR State Pharmacy Technician Licensure prior to start of job - we will help you!
• Strong computer skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Willing to be cross-trained in other areas (Returns, Packaging, Fulfillment, Delivery)
