Supervise hourly pharmacy technicians under the direction of the general manager, assistant general manager, and pharmacists to ensure accurate, timely, and safe completion of all operational activities at the pharmacy central fill facility. Responsibilities include workload balancing, scheduling, training, basic troubleshooting, and performance feedback. Minimum qualifications:

  • Other National Pharmacy certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and correct PC hardware issues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Store pharmacy experience

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure accuracy, safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met daily
  • Coordinate and coach pharmacy technicians to achieve maximum daily production
  • Identify training opportunities and assist in providing training
  • Resolve basic hardware issues during daily operations
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Participate in the Quality Management Committee team functions
  • Perform administrative duties such as interpreting production reports, creating schedules, and correspondence to stores and suppliers
  • Provide technical support to all areas of the Central Fill facility and supporting stores
  • Communicate and ensure HIPAA compliance and security
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information
  • Provide accurate and timely deliveries to all Central Fill stores
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, assist with performance reviews, and provide feedback
  • Spend up to 10% of time participating in the Quality Management Committee functions
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
