Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee the procurement program across two campuses, six sites, and VA community clinics.

The role reports to the Associate Chief of Pharmacy Operations and supervises pharmacists and technicians to ensure compliant operations. Qualified candidates will have ACPE-accredited degrees and an active pharmacist license, with prior procurement or health-system experience preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required
• English proficiency in speaking and writing
• ACPE-accredited degree (BS Pharmacy or PharmD) with transcripts
• Full, current, unrestricted pharmacist license in US or DC

Responsibilities

• Professional and administrative management of the pharmacy service area, including budget execution.
• Supervise multiple pharmacists and technicians and coordinate with other services to meet the facility's mission.
• Develop performance standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and design staff orientation and training programs.
• Develop policies and procedures for the assigned area and monitor staff performance.
