Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted WV Pharmacy Technician registration required or eligible.
• Five years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Two years of pharmacy purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain experience required.
• Experience with pharmacy wholesaler ordering systems, inventory management software, and automated medication distribution technologies.
• Experience managing medication inventory, purchasing workflows, drug shortages, and contract purchasing in an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and guidance to pharmacy buyers across MHN facilities.
• Develop and implement standardized pharmacy purchasing policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Oversee medication procurement, inventory management, and purchasing initiatives across the health system.
• Monitor purchasing data, contract compliance, medication spend, inventory performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate annual pharmacy physical inventories across MHN facilities.
