Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team in California for a 13-week assignment. The role supports 24/7 operations with a 2:1 tech-to-pharmacist ratio, and shifts include days, evenings, and nights with weekend coverage.

Candidates must hold a CA Pharmacist license and have 2+ years of experience; Cerner EMR and Omnicell experience are required, with residency preferred. Oncology infusion center exposure is a plus; no new graduates please.

Qualifications

• California pharmacist license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS preferred.
• Experience in oncology infusion centers is a plus.
• No new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Work with a tech-to-pharmacist ratio of 2:1 per state law.
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Omnicell for dispensing cabinets.
• Rotate through days, evenings, and night shifts with weekend/holiday coverage.
• Sterile compounding experience is preferred.
• Inpatient unit supports NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and oncology.
• Hospitalist or intensivist is available in-house; floor-specific orientation.

Description:The unit has 267 inpatient beds and 100 outpatient beds.The pharmacist will work with a tech-to-pharmacist ratio of 2:1 per state law.Experience with Cerner EMR and Omnicell for dispensing cabinets is required.There is a weekend and holiday requirement for this position.Pharmacy operates 24/7, and there is a sterile compounding experience desired.Shifts will include days, evenings, and nights.Floor-specific orientation will be provided.Common diagnoses include NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatric, and oncology patients.A hospitalist or intensivist will be present in-house.
