Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Pharmacist for an inpatient assignment in Kentucky. The 8-week role involves providing direct pharmacy services to inpatients, including antibiotic, cardiovascular and chemotherapy dosing, and clinical pharmacokinetics.

The position requires active Kentucky pharmacy licensure, 1 year of experience, and RPh certification; additional chemo/hazardous drug and IV certifications are preferred. On-call duties apply on weekdays and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• The role requires an active Kentucky Pharmacy License and RPh status.
• The candidate should have 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Certification in IV and chemo/hazardous drugs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services including antibiotics, cardiovascular meds and chemotherapy dosing.
• Manage geriatric dosing, infectious disease, inpatient care and pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper storage of unit dose systems.

Description:The role involves providing pharmacy services in an inpatient setting.The candidate should have experience with antibiotics, cardiovascular medications, chemotherapy, and clinical dosing.The position includes responsibilities for geriatric dosing, infectious disease, inpatient care, and pharmacokinetic dosing.Sterile technique and proper storage of unit dose systems are also required.The daily patient census is approximately 28, with care provided to adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.The facility has a total of 30 rooms and 42 beds.Interdisciplinary support is available to enhance patient care.
