Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an inpatient pharmacist to focus on complex patient medication reconciliations and expert order recommendations in a fast-paced hospital setting serving a large census.

Description:The inpatient pharmacist will primarily focus on complex patient medication reconciliations and order recommendations.Candidates must be comfortable practicing in a "pharmacist as practitioner" model with a high degree of autonomy.Intravenous experience and pharmacotherapy management are essential.Experience in a computerized hospital pharmacy setting is desired.The role involves interactions with hospitalist groups for medication changes on behalf of patients.Successful candidates should have experience with medication management, including high-alert medications, therapeutic monitoring, and dosing adjustments.Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the use of pharmacy systems and technologies.The work environment is fast-paced, managing a daily census of approximately 330-360 patients across various age groups.Weekend and holiday rotations may be required based on facility needs.Strong acute care experience is a critical requirement for this position.Previous experience in inpatient and acute care settings is essential.
