- Position Type: Travel Hospital Pharmacist / Inpatient Pharmacist
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,560 - $2,740
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
- On-Call: Required, including weekday coverage and every other weekend
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Setting: Hospital pharmacy serving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Location: Hardinsburg, KY 40143
Job Requirements
- Active Kentucky pharmacy license or compact license required at time of submission
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) required
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience required
- Inpatient pharmacy or acute care pharmacy experience preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Chemo/Hazardous Drug experience preferred
- IV certification preferred
- PharmD preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge in antibiotics, cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious disease, renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and sterile technique
- SSN and DOB required for submission
- All requested time off must be disclosed at submission
- Interview availability must be included with submission
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders to ensure safe, accurate dispensing in a hospital pharmacy environment
- Support inpatient medication therapy management across a diverse patient population
- Prepare and oversee IV medications, sterile products, and compounding activities as applicable
- Use clinical judgment to support dosing for renal, cardiovascular, and infectious disease therapies
- Assist with chemotherapy and hazardous drug handling when qualified
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, safety standards, and sterile technique procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled
- Provide reliable, patient-focused pharmacy support in a fast-paced inpatient setting
